The most important consideration for hiring a private investigator should be “how long has he or she been in business.” I do know you cannot remain in business long if:
1. You don’t do quality work.
2. You are not honest with your clients, or
3. You do not communicate with your clients and others in a positive way.
A good PI must truly love his work. Fitting the pieces of the puzzle together is more important than monetary gain. They have a passion and overwhelming desire to solve mysteries. They possess a good logistical mindset with a keen sense for human nature. They are not necessarily patient by nature but understand and practice patience on the job. And lastly, to use an old Navy term, “they pay close attention to detail.” Hire an experienced PI and you won’t regret it.
